About Ct Counselling

My name Chris Townsley, and I am a 35-year-old male counsellor with a passion for helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I am a university-trained professional with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy) - a model I specialize in when working with children. I have a Bachelor of Health Science in counselling from AUT and a provisional membership with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (Membership number 13108) Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with men and families, where I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges they face and the unique dynamics within these groups. While I have focused much of my practice on this population, my training and experience allow me to support individuals from all walks of life.
